Standing wide fold

Place your feet wide apart, turn them inside. Slowly lean forward, hold onto your legs with your hands, reach your head towards the floor, and your tailbone up.

Imagine that you want to pull the floor into the middle with your feet (it will make your adductors flex and will prevent excessive stretching of outer side of your calves).

Hold it for a few seconds, try to fold lower with every breath. Repeat several times.

Be careful – keep your balance, do this on an even surface.
